Debra Simons was born in New York City, New York and grew up in New Jersey. She moved to Boston after graduation from college. Debra’s undergraduate education was at the State University of New York at Binghamton, where she received her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1982 and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the National Nursing Honor Society in her junior year.
Erin Caplan grew up on the west coast, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washington State University. With specialized pediatric nursing training, from oncology to neonatal intensive care, orthopedics, and transplant care, Erin has embraced helping the underserved in Washington, California, and Massachusetts.
Dr. Compagnone was born in Milford, Massachusetts. His undergraduate education was at Boston College, from which he graduated magna cum laude in 1978. He received a master of arts degree in English from the University of Virginia in 1981 and his Doctor of Medicine degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1991.
Dr. DiPietro was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A. in mathematics. Dr. DiPietro received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with Honors and Distinction. She was one of only two students to achieve that honor.

Dr. Fayemi was born in Ibadan, Nigeria and grew up in White Plains, New York. He graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Harvard Medical School. His internship and residency in pediatrics were performed at Children’s Hospital of Boston.
Cara I. Kimberg, Ph.D. received her doctorate in Clinical and Health Psychology, with a specialization in Pediatric Neuropsychology from the University of Florida in 2009. She completed her Internship in Neuropsychology and Pediatric Psychology at the Kennedy Krieger Institute of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at the University of Miami. From 2011 until 2015, Dr. Kimberg served as a Staff Psychologist in the Department of Epidemiology and Cancer Control
Tai Chiappa, PsyD, earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology in 2014. She received Predoctoral training in the Division of Pediatric Psychosocial Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as at Riverbend Community Mental Health in Concord, NH, where she trained in Adult and Pediatric Primary Care. Dr. Chiappa was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Justice Resource Institute-Metrowest Behavioral Health Center in Acton, MA, where she
Dr. Walsh grew up in Acton, Massachusetts. She graduated summa cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2005 with degrees in neuroscience and dance. She graduated with honors from Harvard Medical School in 2010. During medical school, she spent one year in the Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship, investigating dietary treatments of obesity and working in the Optimal Weight for Life clinic at Boston Children’s Hospital.
